Terms, Conditions and Service Clarifications
Here you will find how the final price is determined, which factors affect the on-site work and what information is required for an accurate quotation.
Prices shown on the website exclude VAT and serve as estimates unless explicitly stated otherwise. The final price depends on the actual conditions, access, volume, item type and any additional work required.
What Affects the Final Price
The final price depends not only on the service type, but also on the actual on-site conditions, volume and resources required for safe and organised execution.
Access to the Address
Parking, distance to the entrance, obstacles, gated complexes, underground car parks and difficult access.
Floors and Lift Availability
Ground floor, upper floors, staircase type and whether the lift can actually be used for the specific furniture and loads.
Volume and Weight
Number of furniture items, equipment, boxes, heavy or non-standard items and the actual carrying complexity.
Disassembly and Assembly
When disassembly, assembly or moving of wall units, wardrobes or specialised furniture is required, this is assessed separately.
Packing and Protection
Materials, protection of fragile items, packing of equipment and preparation for transport affect both the time required and the final price.
Route and Waiting Time
Local or out-of-town transport, loading and unloading time, waiting time and additional stops.
Access to the Address
Access to the address directly affects the organisation, time and final price. It makes a significant difference whether the van can stop at the entrance or items must be carried through a courtyard, narrow street or a long internal route.
Easy Access
- up to 10 m from the loading point to the entrance
- level ground
- no obstacles
- no stairs to the entrance
- parking available
Difficult Access
- barriers, controlled access and gated complexes
- underground car parks with restrictions
- multiple entrance doors and internal properties
- no available parking and locations on major roads
- unpaved roads, villa zones and difficult vehicle access
- more than 10 m carrying distance to the entrance
- no normal pedestrian or vehicle access
Floors and Lift Availability
Ground floor, upper floors, staircase type and a usable lift are not equivalent conditions. They directly affect the time, organisation and final price.
Floors and Staircases
- ground floor = level 0, with no carrying up or down stairs
- the ground floor is not the first floor
- first floor = one flight of stairs above ground level
- straight staircase = standard passage
- spiral or external staircases make carrying bulky furniture more difficult
When a Lift Is Considered Usable
- only when it can actually be used for carrying loads
- its dimensions must accommodate the specific items
- its load capacity must be sufficient
- a declared but unusable lift may lead to reassessment
- an old or unreliable lift may delay the work
Heavy and Bulky Items
Difficulty is not determined by weight alone. For heavy and bulky items, the route, access, shape, safety and actual feasibility of carrying are all important.
What Is Considered a Heavy or Bulky Item
- an item over 80 kg
- piano, grand piano, safe or strongbox
- large cabinets, display units and non-standard furniture
- large equipment and items with a high risk of damage
- loads with non-standard dimensions, shape or centre of gravity
What Affects the Assessment
- the item’s size and shape
- turns, narrow spaces, height restrictions and limited routes
- floors, lift availability and whether the item can actually pass through
- need to protect common areas and perform additional preparation
- more people do not always solve the problem; the correct approach is required
Disassembly and Assembly
Disassembly and assembly are not automatically included in every move. They are agreed in advance according to the furniture type, technical feasibility and actual on-site conditions.
How We Work
- we use our own tools
- the work is clarified in advance according to the specific furniture
- assembly requires sufficient space, time and technical feasibility
- not every furniture item can be disassembled
- not every furniture item can be reassembled
Important Clarification
- we are not responsible for damage when using tools supplied by the client
- we are not responsible when the client refuses recommended disassembly
- we are not responsible for incorrect original assembly
- we are not responsible for structurally unstable furniture
- if agreed disassembly or assembly proves impossible on site, 50% of the price for that service remains payable
Packing and Unpacking
Packing is not about using more materials, but about applying the correct protection according to the belongings, route and moving conditions.
How We Approach Packing
- packing is determined according to the item type
- fragility, value and transport conditions are taken into account
- we use stretch film, bubble wrap, boxes, blankets, corrugated board and protective materials
- protection is especially important for fragile items, intercity moving and storage
- partial packing may be applied only to higher-risk items when appropriate
Unpacking and Materials
- unpacking does not include arranging items unless explicitly agreed
- materials are charged separately and recorded by type and quantity
- materials are clarified in advance as part of the request
- client-supplied materials may be used, but no level of protection can be guaranteed
- if the client refuses recommended packing, the associated risk remains with the client
Transport, Waiting Time and Out-of-Town Services
Transport is more than a journey from point A to point B. The route, access, loading and unloading time, waiting time and whether the job is local, out of town or intercity all matter.
What We Clarify in Advance
- journey type: local, out of town or intercity
- route: collection point, destination and any intermediate stops
- volume and load type: furniture, equipment, materials or mixed load
- whether transport is provided alone or with a loading and unloading team
- whether packing, disassembly, storage or more than one journey is required
What Affects the Estimate
- distance and total route length
- loading and unloading time
- waiting time at the address or along the route
- access, parking and address restrictions
- number of journeys and suitable vehicle type for the load
Team Size and Work Organisation
The required team size is determined according to the volume, items, access and actual working conditions, not by guesswork. The aim is safe, high-quality execution within an appropriate timeframe.
How We Determine the Team
- the number of people is determined according to the volume, items and working conditions
- the aim is to complete the service safely, properly and within an appropriate timeframe
- requests such as “I need 2 movers for X hours” require further clarification according to the actual job
- incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information may result in reassessment, postponement or refusal of service
How the Work Is Organised
- the work process is managed by the team supervisor
- task allocation and work sequence are determined by the service provider
- the client does not take part in carrying, loading or unloading unless this has been agreed in advance
- without prior agreement, the team may refuse to work jointly with third parties
Reassessment and Changes to the Terms
When the information provided differs from the actual situation, the organisation, time and final price may change. This is why the conditions are clarified in advance.
What to Prepare Before Sending an Enquiry
The more accurate the initial information, the clearer and more reliable the estimate will be. For more complex cases, a short video or several photos can reduce the need for further clarification.
- exact addresses: collection point and destination
- floors, whether a lift is available and whether it can actually be used
- description of the furniture, equipment, boxes and total volume
- whether there are heavy, fragile or non-standard items
- whether disassembly, assembly, packing, removal or storage is required
- whether there is difficult access, barriers, underground parking, narrow areas or a long carrying distance to the entrance
- photos or a short video for more complex cases
Let Us Clarify the Job and Provide the Terms
Send brief information about the volume, addresses and conditions. We will respond with a plan, estimate and next steps according to the actual situation.
- Collection point → destination (addresses)
- What is being moved (furniture, equipment, boxes, heavy items)
- Access: floor, lift, parking and carrying distance to the entrance
- Whether disassembly, packing, transport or storage is required
The more accurate the information, the clearer and more reliable the terms will be from the outset.
